A Universal Orlando guest alleges she was discriminated against after being turned away at the gate of one of the parks* due to clothing.
*Upon reviewing video footage (watch here), we can safely assume it was the gate of Universal Studios Florida.
Whitney Paige Venable recently shared a story on social media about an experience she encountered when visiting Universal Orlando this past Summer.
Initially reported by The Sun, Venable shared that the was wearing a white crop top and mint green shorts. As she approached the park gate, she was told that she would have to change before entering the park. Venable said her friend had an extra shirt in the car, so she went back and changed and then entered Universal Studios Florida (we can assume).
She said she felt “discriminated against” and was “humiliated” and “embarrassed” by the entire experience:
“I felt humiliated and embarrassed. I was told I had to change my top to be able to enter. I think it’s because I have naturally big breasts and it makes people uncomfortable but as far as I know my clothing wasn’t against the rules. I feel like I was discriminated against because of the size of my breasts. Noticed other people staring and I felt really embarrassed. It was humiliating.”

It’s a family friend park and although I applaud her for being confident and proud of her body, she should understand that this outfit was inappropriate at a park with small children and even “adult” children for that matter. There is a place and time for these outfits (pool, beach, club, etc) but a family park really isn’t one of them.
