Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Evacuated After Fire Alarm

Guests at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort were forced outside due to a fire alarm yesterday evening.

Polynesian Village Resort guests took to Twitter to share photos and videos of themselves being evacuated from the Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

It’s unclear what triggered the alarm, however, guests are now back in the hotel. Pirates and Princesses initially reported about the evacuation.

“On a Disney Passholder Facebook group, users are reporting that they smelled fire and saw smoke. There are other reports that the monorails were temporarily shut down.”
