A Day in the Park with Barney at Universal Studios Florida Permanently Closed

In spite of the show’s temporary closure last year, the characters from the show would meet guests out in Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone.

But they haven’t been meeting guests since 2021 started, leading to rumours of the show’s permanent closure. 

Via a tweet posted yesterday, Universal Orlando has confirmed that A Day in the Park with Barney at Universal Studios Florida has permanently closed. You can read their tweet below: 

According to Inside Universal, A Day in the Park with Barney originally opened in Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone back in 1995.

It was one of Universal Studios Florida’s longest-running shows before it closed, according to the established outlet.  You can watch the show in full in the video below:
