The Three Caballeros are back together on Gran Fiesta Tour in World Showcase’s Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT, however not in the way we imagined.
Following a malfunction, Donald Duck’s animatronic was removed and has been missing for several weeks. As of today, Panchito and Jose’s animatronics were also removed. All three have been replaced with flat cutouts of the characters.
Last year, Jose’s animatronic also malfunctioned and was removed from the attraction for a period of time.
“It seems the animatronics have proven faulty enough for them to all be removed for refurbishment. At least we hope they’re fixing them…”

The animatronics were all part of the Magic Kingdom’s opening day attraction, Mickey Mouse Revue. According to WDWNT, they were only added to the Gran Fiesta Tour several years ago.
