Splash Mountain Evacuated at Magic Kingdom

This morning (U.S. EST), images and a video emerged online showing guests being evacuated from Splash Mountain in Frontierland at the Magic Kingdom.

In the photo below, you can see the attraction’s ride vehicles pile up after the third drop before going through the final scene.

A few minutes later, Cast Members were seen evacuating guests from the attraction. As shown in the photos below:

Twitter user @trevgrigsby posted a video of him being evacuated out of the show building of the attraction. Watch below:

Even though the rest of the attraction was evacuated fully, one log was stuck in the middle of the water near the front of the mountain.

Cast Members returned with bottled water after 20 minutes for those who were still stuck, according to WDWNT’s Nick Bindra.

Eventually, all guests were evacuated. The attraction is currently listed as Temporarily Closed on My Disney Experience.
