Update: According to Orlando Theme Park Zone reader Will Purdum, the attraction has reopened following the temporary closure.
Original Post: According to an Inside The Magic (ITM) reader, a Pirates of the Caribbean animatronic had fallen over whilst she was riding the iconic Magic Kingdom attraction today.
By the time she got off the ride, Pirates of the Caribbean was listed as temporarily closed.
As the screenshot to the right shows, My Disney Experience confirms the above-mentioned statement.
The ITM reader then told the established outlet that the one animatronic was at about a 75 degree angle falling forwards.
When she asked a Cast Member if the ride was shut down due to the animatronic, they joked and said, “Yes, it looks like he had a bit too much rum.”
At this time, the Adventureland attraction remains temporarily closed.
