The Jungle Book Jive musical show was set to return today, 22nd August, to Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris. However, the show has been cancelled and no performances will take place today.
Initially reported by fansite Looopings yesterday, two Cast Members have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19), which was later confirmed by a Disney spokesperson. The COVID-19 infected Cast Members are presently at home.
All other affected Cast Members, including the entire performing team, were also sent home to quarantine for 14 days. Because of this, the show had to be cancelled. The Jungle Book Jive show may not debut for another few weeks.
The show was announced for a limited-time summer run in an effort to draw guests back to Walt Disney Studios Park, which has suffered from low attendance throughout Disneyland Paris’ reopening.
