A “small number” of Walt Disney World employees who travelled to Italy recently are staying home over Coronavirus concerns.
Disney is monitoring the employees following their trip to Italy, which has so far experienced the largest outbreak of the virus in Europe so far.
The decision to keep the workers at home was made “out of an abundance of caution,” according to a Disney spokesperson.
There are no confirmed or suspected cases of the Coronavirus at Disney World, the spokesperson added.
Any cases would be reported to the Orange County Health Department, the spokesperson said.
