Whilst construction on Universal’s new theme park Epic Universe is now confirmed officially, another fascinating (relating) secret project has come to light.
According to Screamscape’s Lance Hart (Hart), a second hotel is supposedly being planned. However, according to Hart, this wouldn’t be any ordinary hotel…This would be an Ultra Themed Hotel! (a term created by Hart)
You may be thinking…What’s an Ultra Themed Hotel? Well, you’ll soon find out when Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser opens in 2021, allowing guests to enter a hotel with 100% immersion into a living and breathing fictional universe for the duration of their stay.
Disney is hoping that Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser succeeds so that they carry on this particular concept. However, according to Screamscape, Universal is already planning on own version of the concept…One that will be themed entirely on The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Should this hotel come to fruition, it should be located somewhere within the nearby realm of Epic Universe. We’re not going to give away all the details, so we highly recommend that you read Hart’s original post (read here).
