The attraction is set to reopen to guests on the 28th February, 2020.
It’s official! Splash Mountain at the Magic Kingdom is now closed for just under two months1 for refurbishment.
This is pretty common for the time of the year as temperatures are colder and the attendance for the attraction is lower (presumably).
We don’t know specifically what Disney will be doing during refurbishment, however general maintenance and repair seems to be on the cards.
The E-ticket attraction’s refurbishment is currently scheduled to end on the 27th February, 2020.
