Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Attraction-Specific Boarding Group Required to Access Ride

According to the My Disney Experience app, guests will be required to join a boarding group to ride/experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (ROTR) in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

There is an critical difference to be made here in which the boarding group appears to be for the highly-anticipated attraction itself, and not the land as a whole. When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge first opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a similar boarding group process was used for the entire land.

It would be fair to suggest that Disney isn’t expecting an overwhelming demand for all the offerings available in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, just ROTR. For updates on ROTR boarding groups, you can open up the My Disney Experience app.
